We are pleased to announce that we have awarded meeting registration scholarships to seven college students so that they could attend the Society for Northwestern Vertebrate Biology meetings held in Portland in 2015.

We are pleased to award a research scholarship to University of Minnesota undergraduate, Gage Sachs, for his work on the St. Louis River Freshwater Estuary.

Interested in Science Education? The 3 Sigma Institute and Intel Northwest Science Expo (www.nwse.org) are looking for volunteers to help judge at a regional high school science fair in March 2015. We are looking for individuals who hold an advanced degree in science, medicine or engineering to judge high school science projects. We are particularly interested in recruiting judges with expertise in Medicine, Ecology, Environmental Sciences and other Life Sciences.
